The parts I ordered to fix my engine arrived yesterday, about one month after the bearing seized around my previous prop hub, so today I got straight back into it and started rebuilding the engine (again!!!). Anyway, what's done is done, time to look forward. I started off by prepping the case, removing all metal burrs etc. and then masked and painted the case, same paint and colour as before, Duplicolor engine enamel grey. While the paint was drying I reassembled the crankshaft. I bought new bearings so the gear had to come off to install the #3 bearing. Once the paint was dry (about 3 hours later) I pulled the masking off and started assembling the engine, you can see in the second picture how far I got.
