I painted the V-Stab and H-Stab tonight. I'm getting a lot better at this, you can see the shine I'm achieving now. It's really about finding a balance between an orange peeled finish and the risk of having runs and sags, The first layer is just a light tack coat, that's easy. With the second full bodied layer however you need to spray enough paint on there to allow it to "flow out" nicely, the more you can do that the less orange peel, however, too much and you'll have runs. I can now see why people train for years to become good spray painters. But anyway, like I said, I'm getting much better at it. I'm quite pleased with the results I'm achieving now.
