The run in the elevator was sanded out today, I lightly sanded the reamining surface and gave the elevator another coat with the spray gun. Again it seems I'm getting better at this, results are almost looking professional now. Once I finish everything I might get back to the first parts I did and give them a light sand and extra coat as well. Also my little 2HP compressor broke yesterday when I was playing with the spray gun. I decided to bite the bullet and buy a real good one this time, got a belt driven one that is capapable of delivering 15CFM! I now don't have to stop anymore mid-spraying to let the compressor catch up. The flow also seems to be much more constant.
