After making 3 sets of tail fairings I finally got a set I was happy with so today I installed them. As you can see I did not follow the plans here completely. Normally you have the front lip of the fairings go under the turtledeck skin. Somehow I find it looks a bit better this way. Not entirely happy with it but better, I can see now why some people go through the hassle of making a big one-price fibreglass fairing. I might still do that at some point in time later.
