Didn't do too much the last few days but tonight I made the rudder cable fairings. These are not as easy to make as you would think. I made 4, the first went into the bin straight away, the second turned out better but not great, the last two were good. I found that bending them initially in a V-block using a 1/2" rod (I had a small bit left from my windshield bow) was the best way. After that it's a matter of finishing the bend using the rod and the bench vice. Finally the tips are adjusted with a mallet and then ground to sit flat.
