The fittings I ordered arrived this week so I was able to complete the oil system. I have a hose going from the pump cover plate to the oil filter along the right side and back side of the engine, then from there back to the oil cooler on the left side, then coming out of the right side of the cooler back to the engine where it was drilled and tapped for the oil return. The hoses have been insulated with speedflow hose insulation material and the fittings have been wrapped with heat wrap tape.
