I'm considering my cowling work done for now. The thing with this fibreglass work is that it never ends, I find even if it looks good, it can always be improved. I believe the surface of my cowling is now smooth enough and ready to be sanded up to 400 grit and primed, but that's a job for later, I will first do some investigation on what products are used in this process. In the meantime I will move on to the baffles and consider the cowling work done.
During this process I have been looking on other builders websites to see how far they finish their cowl before they consider it "good enough" but found very little pictures so I'll create a few posts here with some pictures of what mine looks like.
