Brief Description:  Rebuilding the engine

Today I drilled the hole for the extra dowel pin to allow for the split #3 main bearing modification.
This was easily done using an old #2 split bearing I got from my VW friend here which I modified and drilled through the dowel pin hole so it could then be installed and used as a template.
The dowel pin hole is 5mm and goes about 1/4" deep.
This was all very easy to do, much easier than having to rebuild the crankshaft.
