Before I can install the windshield permanently I needed to install the cover on the glareshield, I used thin black felt. I found the easiest way to mark the cuts was using masking tape and the easiest way to cut the felt was with my soldering iron, this has the advantage that it leaves a lightly melted edge that will be more durable. Everything is ready now for final installation of the windshield.
