I started off by priming the new panel today, the primer dries quickly and can be recoated within an hour so I was also able to apply a first coat of black paint. I then moved on to something I had left sitting for a long time, the flap and brake handle installation. I had already installed these temporarily a long time ago (years) but could not leave them in place until the wing rigging was done. With that now out of the way I was able to install the handles, looks good. While I'm at it I might start working on the brake cables as well, it will be easier to do whilst I don't have any wiring, cables, hoses etc. running all over the place.
