This is a tricky one, how do I drill and install the root doubler with the pilot holes in the wing skin.
The plans are not clear about this, they just say, install the root doubler after installing the forward skin, hmmm.
I'll take it one step at a time, my wing skins are only clecoed in place so I can still remove them, so I removed the upper aft skin, clamped the root doubler to it with 5/8" hang-over as per the plans and then started drilling. I then put the skin back on the wing, so far so good, now the foward skin, how will I continue with that one? That will be a problem to solve in the next session.
