After my mess-up with the main landing gear I took a few days to reflect on what had happened. I've ordered a new axle and have now started working on the tail wheel assembly. I've drilled the 1/4" holes and luckely everything went alright here. As you might notice in the picture my tail wheel bracket is larger than the std Sonex bracket, that's because I'm using Kip Laurie's larger bracket designed to accept the Van's tail wheel. Thanks Kip! Finally my wheels and tires arrived this week so I decided to assemble them, I have not inflated them yet, need to check what the ideal pressure is first.
