I made the 88 degree and 11 degree bends in the seat sling tonight, to do this I used my workbench as an improvised bending brake as shown on the pictures. Afterwards I soaked the paper attached to the aluminium with some WD-40 to remove it, a little cleanup and voila, a dropped seat sling. All I have to do now is attach the hinges and then I can install it.
