Brief Description:  Idler assembly

Now that the parts are primed, I put the idler assembly together, well I put it together at least 10 times.
The plans call for the idler plate to “sit snug but move freely” in the assembly, this is achieved by first of all line-reaming the bronze bushings until the bolt assembly fits perfectly, then you also need to use paper shims in between the angles to get the distance between them just right so there is no play on the idler but it does move freely.
Finally the bushings need to be greased, I used automotive lithium grease.
