I started working on the upper firewall. I had previously drawn the various parts of the upper firewall in AutoCAD and printed on paper, now I could start gluing them to the steel, aluminium and wood to begin making the parts. The first part I made was the windshield strap, I was not able to complete this part since I don't have a 11/32" drill bit to drill the holes for the southco fasteners, I'll need to go get one at the hardware store tomorrow. Apart from those holes, the strap is done. After that I made the form blocks to make the actual upper firewall main part, I also used a paper template to stick to the wood and then cut out the shape.
