Brief Description: Arrival of the remaining welded components
My remaining welded components from Sonex arrived today. I already had the elevator horn and tail wheel mount. The only things I did not order were the main wheel axles and tail wheel bracket. The axles l will get from Tracy O'Brien as I'm installing the Tracy O'Brien hydraulic brakes. Kip Laurie makes larger tail wheel brackets to allow the Vans tail wheel to be installed on the Sonex, I get my bracket from him. I chose for the VW engine mount, I need to be realistic now, the J3300 is just not in my budget, but I have high hopes for the AeroVee Turbo. If the AeroVee turbo project does not materialize I will probably go with the Revmaster R2300.
