Continued configuing the Skyview network. It would not "see" the transponder. After some checking we found one pin on the TX/RX serial port wires at the transponder was in the wrong hole in the connector (my error). Got that repaired and began having a problem with the co-pilot screen shutting off. Upon checking the VP-X screen on the other Skyview we found that one of the electronic curcuit breakers had kicked in the VP-X. Connected the laptop to the VP-X and found we had set the curcuit breaker value at 3 amps instead of 5. When the co-pilot backup battery began charging the draw for that screen exceeded the 3 amps. Reset the value to 5 amps and the trouble was gone. Again, my error. With all the complexity of the system I am quite happy to find only these two issues! At this point the EMS, PFD and map seem to be functioning properly. Now the fun begins in customizing the Skyview for the plane.
