Today I made (2) 1-1/16" spacers for the aileron bell cranks. I then sorted out the hardware and mounted both push rods in the left wing to the bell crank.
Later in the day Colten helped me mount the L aileron on the L wing. After that I used the piece of aluminum angle that I used to rivet the trailing edge of the rudder and used it as the aileron alignment tool. I needed to drill two holes matched to holes on the outside wing rib and then draw parrallel lines that will align the aileron tip. The W-730 aileron jig from Van's arrived today so I started adjusting the rod ends before calling it a day.
