Brief Description: Put wings in cradle and tore down wing jig
Mark T from Platteville, WI replied to my post on VAF.net that he would like my wing jigs. He is building an RV-6 with his brother in Coal City, IL and will pick them up tomorrow.
I also hung my wing tips on the wall by my desk in the shop. I did a test fit and they are both mis-shapen from sitting on the inboard ends for too long. I may have to bond some foam strips inside to give them some support and hold them in the proper shape. This is not an uncommon problem. The right one is worse than the left.
I added the foam padding on the wing cradle and Colten helped me set them in place. I can now finish taking down the wing jig for Mark to pick up.
Justine came home and surprised me tonight. I was in KC since Tuesday and she hasn't been home from EIU since Christmas.
