Tonight I started looking at the aileron brackets and then decided I would look at what it will take to install the Safeair 1 pitot tube mount.
I pulled out both bottom skins for the left wing and loosely clecoed them in place. I then taped the mount in a possible location. Bill G from Lees Summit airport in MO (LXT) has a flying RV-7 and says the bay outside of the inpection cover is best. He put his in the second bay outboard and it is difficult to access from both inboard and outboard from the wing tips. I didn't accomplish much, but it is cool to see the wing pretty much closed up.
