Brief Description: Finished bends and twists for longerons
Today I started by trimming the aft ends of the F-718 longeron angles with the die grinder. I then fitted and match drilled both F-721B's.
I bent the forward ends of both longerons per plans and then put in the required twist. This all sounds simple and doesn't look like much in the pictures, but bending and twisting and angle to a particular shape takes time and some coaxing to get it right. Mine turned out good.
My final task for the day was to cut the six J-channels to proper length. The ends need to be trimmed so I will do that next session. I'm almost ready for the aft fuselage to start coming together.
Justine had a track meet at Notre Dame and had another PR time of 8.99 for the 60m hurdles. This should have placed her in the top half of the field. Their bus had a flat tire and they were delayed for three hours and missed her event. The three hurdlers from her team ran at the end of the night to get their times.
