I finished hand dimpling the leading edge skin to the counterweight pipe by holding the dimple die with a pliers and gently hitting it with a phenolic hammer. I again put the masking tape around each hole when dimpling and riveting to protect the surface. All leading edge/counterweight rivets are now complete.
Next, I riveted the nose and main ribs to the bottom skin. The main spar rivets are all that remain of the left aileron and then I can move on to the right one.
