My first task today was to cleco the nose ribs A-704 to the spar and match drill. The main ribs A-705 were also match drilled. I then removed the blue plastic on the inside of the leading edge skins. It sounds easy, but it actually took about ten minutes to get the stuff off. The longer the plastic is on the parts, the harder it comes off.
Next, I clecoed the leading and trailing edge skins to the skeleton. The 1/2" galvanized steel pipe counter balance is also in position in the leading edge. Next session I will match drill the skins and holes in the counter balance. The ailerons look really good so far.
