This falls in the category of "I had the sheet aluminum, and my first side skin wasn't perfect." No extra expense, just an evening of my time to get rid of a couple of unfortunate drilling mistakes. Not a bad investment to have something that I can be really proud of. And it's shiny too! BTW, I crossed the 1,300 hour mark tonight. Don't even ask how many hours I think I have left. I'm just going to enjoy the ride.
New front side skin in place
There used to be an extra hole (too close to the main gear attachment for comfort). Voila, it is gone
NACA vent area, with another hole issue corrected along the line of bronze clecoes.
