Brief Description: 1 - Set up tow bar capture points
Ever since the plane has been on its gear, I've struggled with moving it around. I thought that someday I would probably make a tow bar. While I was on the Zenith website the other day, I saw a video of their new tow bar. It didn't take me long to give up the idea of making one and to place my order. A 1/2" stainless steel tube is installed 25mm up from the mounting plate and a 3/16" hole is drilled from front to back for a bolt to secure the tube. The open ends of the tube are the point where the tow bar captures the nose gear, making maneuvering a snap.
