Brief Description:  Attached pitot LED wires and ground

I completed the electrical hookup of the heated pitot by connecting the four 24 gauge lead wires from the LED to the control module. This was a four-wire shielded cable, and I was required to separate the shield and ground it locally. I used a red PIDG ring connector and attached it to the frame by removing and replacing a rivet in my conduit bracket. I scraped away the primer where the ring connector was to make contact, ensuring a good ground. I then began routing wires along the conduit, further protecting them with silicone rubber self-fusing tape from B&C. Becaiuse you pull it tight to activate the self-fusing action, even a 2 or 3 inch piece does a great job of wrapping several times around a wire bundle.
