As previously noted, ZAC sent the standard tanks when I had ordered long range. They were willing to make the swap, but I decided to hold onto the smaller tanks. Practically from the day I decided to go long range, I've questioned my decision. The chances of flying 5 to 6 hours without a break are slim indeed. Since I like to keep my tanks topped off to limit condensation, I would always be carrying around 36 extra pounds that would just limit my useful load. Since the error was made by the factory, they offered to send me two nose ribs and enough nose rib angle to install them. I'll just have two #4 ribs...one in the place for standard tanks and the other for long range. A slight weight penalty to make a significant weight gain.
