Brief Description: Match drilled left wing top to front spar
Back on 9/15 I mistakenly drilled through the top skin/front spar combo on the left wing. On 9/23 I discovered I had misaligned the skins, requiring replacement. When I replaced the top skin, I did not drill through to the existing holes in the front spar for lack of a good technique. Through advice of Dave Clay, I picked up a #40 strap duplicator. The concept is really quite simple -- slide the opening in the duplicator over the aluminum needing to be drilled, insert the bottom pin in the hole to be duplicated, drill through the top bushing and voila! I did that along the entire length of the front spar with perfect results.
