Brief Description:  Attached nose ribs and trimmed nose skin bottom

Since Joy and AJ left today for a quick trip to Ireland, I'm taking the week off to have a 5-day building spree. On my way back from the airport I stopped by to see Dave Thompson, one the first guys I ever connected with re: the 601XL/Corvair combo. Dave is a very helpful auditor of the Matronics Zenith list who is always coming up with suggestions to make the building process more efficient. It was good to spend some time with Dave at his shop. I expect I'll see him at my place soon to scope out the project. Today I made the support blocks for nose skin fitting, leveled the wing, clecoed the nose ribs, marked and measured the nose ribs for alignment, riveted the nose ribs, measured the borrom nose skin distance to confirm the 411mm dimension, cut the skin, marked the rivet lines for the nose ribs, and temporarily hung the skin over the rbis. Whew! I can already tell that one of my greatest challenges is going to be doing this without someone just inside the house (e.g. Joy or AJ) who can help me maneuver things around and flip the wing when needed. Between calling on friends and ingenuity, I'm sure it will all work out.
