Brief Description:  Fabricated aileron bellcrank parts

At last I'm moving beyond my spars to something else...anything else. In this case, it happens to be the aileron bellcranks. My reason for moving ahead to this part is because these are the only other parts that I know of which require solid riveting. When I'm done, my solid riveting days are most likely behind me and I'll be able to return the borrowed riveting tools to Dave Clay and Debo Cox (thanks, guys). Making these was a wonderful break from the work I've been doing, and I was able to use the band saw, belt sander and drill press extensively to make these heavy-duty bellcranks that convert the pushing and pulling of control cables into linear motion that moves ailerons in opposite directions on the two sides of the plane. The parts came out perfectly. Unfortunately, I don't have the necessary countersunk rivets and Aircraft Spruce is closed tomorrow. Monday morning begins three weeks of nearly solid travel that include a week in Ecuador, three days in Colorado and a week in Kansas City. Don't count on many entries until mid-July.
