Brief Description: Right wing spar drilling complete
This phase went remarkably well. No big surprises. My only goof was minor. I drilled one AN-470-AD-5-9 rivet hole to the larger size (6-14) when I used the wrong bit. Since it is always fine to go up in size, there was no harm. Because my biggest problem on my left spar came from a 6-14 hole that was not perfectly matched in pre-production, requiring me to go to a bolt instead, I took the time to assemble the entire spar and to put a fastener in every single hole. With this kind of precaution, there is no way I will get caught like before. Things fit well and I'm ready to clean and prime.
