Using the same technique as I used on the top spar cap angles, I completed the drilling on the bottom angles. The only difference is that the 1st inboard hole on each bottom cap/doubler/angle is for an AN4 bolt. I drilled using a "D" bit and final reamed it to 1/4". Finally, I disassembled all the parts and flanged the lightening hole on the right spar. Now, at last,I am able to return my drill press to its regular place...away from my worktable. Leveling and clamping it to the edge of the table has worked remarkably well for making the hundreds of straight and level holes in the spars, but I'll be glad to recover the space and manueverability that comes when the drill press is bolted down to its assigned work stand. On to deburring, smoothing and priming.
