Brief Description:  Left flap complete

As usual, the steps that you think will take no time rarely meet your expectations. I thought I'd be through with deburring, cleaning, priming and riveting in no more than three hours. In any event, by the time I had deburred and cleaned my left flap, I decided against doing both flaps simultaneously. Finishing my right flap sounds like the perfect project for another night (or two) this week. Concerning the results, I am very pleased. I took special care to clamp it down and hold it flat during final riveting, and it is a very straight piece of work. Just for fun, I weighed it and it comes in at 7 lbs. 3.6 oz. Not bad for a part that is as tall as I am, I am always amazed at how sturdy these pieces of thin aluminum become when structurally riveted together.
