Picked up the lumber and fasteners at Lowe's after work and completed the frame and top of the work table. Used the marble entry to our house for a flat, smooth surface to start the process. Put down a 4 x 8 sheet of MDF which I shimmed to make it level. Laid out the three I-beams and made sure they were level as well. Attached the plywood ends and trued up the corners. Put down the 3/4 plywood first, then topped it with 3/4 MDF. Very straight and true. For the time being, I have the table on saw horses, but will put on adjustable legs before any critical assembly takes place. Now, at least, I have a place to work and lay out parts and supplies.
