Deburred main spar webs and doublers, then started fabricating tip details.
The tip detail was not s pre-fabricated part of the kit, I had to cut it out of a large sheet of aluminum. In the past I would have used aviation snips to cut this out. However, I've found that snips usually cause the aluminum to bend, and it's very difficult to get it totally flat again. So instead I use a bandsaw for as much as I can.
While the bandsaw works pretty well, I think I could use a 14 tpi blade instead of the 6 tpi I have. Every once in a while my blade catches on thin pieces and slightly bends the edge. This isn't usually a big deal though because I don't cut right up to the line. As shown below, I file, and grind the final 1/32" or so of material.
