I installed the ER tanks a few months back and forgot to create the gap between the tank skins and main wing skins. There needs to be a 1/32" or so gap for the paint. If you are reading this I would recommend to set the gap before you install all of #8 screws because it is PITA to remove all those screws and the AN3 bolts for tank removal.
I took some nice pics after I filed the skins down. Nice gap showing the main wing spar.
Now I dont have to watch out for the skins bridging and paint cracking when I get that expensive paint job in 2027!
