Brief Description:  Cabin Heat wiring begins

The vertical power VPX has one short coming. It only allow a maximum of 15 amps on a few circuits. The Cabin heaters use 14.5amps each so 15 is cutting it too close, not to mention I used them all up already. Instead, I opted to wire them directly to the Master solenoid for power. This will allow the Master switch to have control over the units and ensure no power can be drained by the units themselves without the master being ON.
Moving on, I ordered a huge 50 amp capacity toggle switch to handle the combined 30 amp draw that these bad boys are gonna pull. I will, however need to carefully select which devices are on while these are running as they use a LOT of power. 400 Watts putting out almost 1400 BTU's straight to my toes. :)
Even though my first tests have shown they may not put out as much heat as I hoped, the manufacture reminded me that they are going to be 25% more powerful while the engine is running and putting out 14.5V vs, the 11.5 I saw during my tests.
Fall weather is here and I should get some good high altitude cool weather for testing as soon as UL POWER decides to care about their customers. ugh.... 4 months grounded now.
