Brief Description:  Epoxy mixing

This isn't my first time using epoxy, but it is in such careful ratio's and different consistencies. I purchased EzPoxy with 87 hardener because of it's great reviews and specifically because I'll be using most of it to build the strakes and tanks. I decided to try mixing the different consistencies required for the kit and see how they turn out in the morning. I will say this: 5 hours after mixing and they are still too wet to touch. I know I bought the SLOW hardener but I thought by now it would at least get to the tacky stage. Guess we'll see tomorrow as I'm almost certain my ratios were dead on. One thing I am glad about is the ability to do several layups without feeling rushed or needing to sand in between. BIG time saver!
