The goal today was to bring everything to the point of being ready for glass work. First I replaced the canopy and forward fuse cover and did one final sanding run. Then I rounded up some left over foam and piled it behind the canopy. I filled almost all of the voids with the x-30 I had left and after cure began to carve. I've now got a few more voids to fill, however this can easily be done during the interior canopy work. from nose to firewall it's now about 98% ready for glasswork. Tomorrow I will take 1 last look at every angle, trim and sand where needed and then begin the layups.
Update: the extrusions cannot be drilled or bolted in place easily after the turtledeck is in place. this Huge inconvenience is going to force me to wait on the glass work.
