The Jury is in and the plans win the draw. I'll be using the bellcrack according to Rutans plans for 2 reasons. 1, it allows the cable to clear the pushrods, and 2 it saves the cable for having to turn almost 100 degrees. That's a no no. The bellcrank holes were marked, drilled and test fit. Everything was spot on but I thought the rudder cable came a little too close the the fuselage sides at the firewall, so I carved an angled groove to accomidate. This groove will be re-glassed before final install. testing the cable routing proved to be successful with no binding angles or interference.
