Brief Description: Wing Tip #10 - Left tip riveted
I mixed up 7 grams of ProSeal hardener and 70 grams of base and mixed it up. Then I clecoed one of the hinges with the bonding side up and spread a layer the ProSeal, then pulled the tape and the clecos and clecoed it to the wing tip. I placed a cleco in every other hole and then did the same process with the other hinge - clecoed it to the table, administered the ProSeal, pulled the tape and clecos - and clecoed to the wingtip...now I was ready to start the riveting. Using the pneumatic squeezer, I set the rivets.
I had one bad rivet that I replaced, and it took a long time to clean up the odd spots of ProSeal from the wing tip exterior - figuring it easier to clean before it sets. I also took the remaining ProSeal and spread it along the hinges...might as well use it.
