Brief Description: Bonding the landing light pivot point mount
With everything ready to go from the night before I just needed to mix the resin/hardener and flox to make it a pudding-like consistency. I then installed two screws in each light and lifted the light so I could swab the goop on the wing tip surface where the mount would be positioned. I set the light/mount into position and clecoed the mount to the wing tip. I then installed the 4 blind rivets. The rivet mandrels all broke off a little long so I will have to file those down after the epoxy dries. I did the same to the other wing tip and after the rivets were pulled, I spread some of the excess epoxy mix around the mount...being careful not to get it on the pivot point itself.
