Decided to do a little hanger flying and scan the imaginary panel lay-out of DYNON components. Have the latest full size color templates from Copper State Fly-in and thinking about SkyView. In the process of entering and egress decided that a brace on the flimsy arm rest will be prudent to avoid damage.
Crafted a brace from scrap wing walk alum and bend the opposite ends to fit under the edge of the rest and attach to the side skin. Attachment will be below the static tube route and above the rudder cable route. Considered other possible interference and see none. Will prepare brace and wait for Finsihing Kit to arrive before commiting to hole drilling. Don't anticipate canopy latch or other components would be affected though.
