Brief Description:  Instrument panel, riveted

Had to make a 2nd pass at the countersink to get proper flush fit on the rivets. The surface of the panel is highly visible and a clean and smooth look is important.

Minor difference in the layout of the angle, near the ends. Dwg #35 shows the vertical piece going up a little higher (one notch). I made it only the vertical section, with the 'break' in the material between the curve and the vertical.

Nice and stiff. Nice and clean.

Also, just realized the fwd top skin must be trimmed back from the edge and another angle must be fabricated, similar to the instrumental panel. Dwg #35 has a small detail drawing about this feature. In addition that other angle needs a V-strip weatherseal so it must be 1/8" below the level of the skin. This is a weatherseal for the tip-up canopy forward edge. Somehow overlookded this detail.
