Located the position of the fairing on the left side and checked all the stuff on the other side of the skin, discovered the proximity to the J-stringer and interference points.
Concluded that although I had planned to use solid rivets and make it flush, it was concluded that function was going to prevail over form on this task. I did dimple the fairing and countersunk the skin, since it's not structural, I decided that was for 'better fit' but then used MSP-42 blind rivets.
On the right side of the fuselage, I decided to debur and skip the dimple/CS step, since the MSP-42 rivets weren't really soft enough to go flush.
NOTE: The open hole in the #3 photo is for the screw that will secure the Adel clamp on the inside of skin, around the fair lead. This is just a screw/nut arrangement and will get be secured and unlikely to ever need attention again.
