Vans said that I could add the spacer plates (1/8" alum x three) to move the UMHW block away from the F-626 rib and ensure proper engagement on the step tube.
The tube is about 7/16ths" short when clecoed to the fuselage skin.
Cut 3 plates the same size as the UHMW block (F-6125) and will drill and mount with four longer bolts to the F-626 rib.
