Brief Description:  Rollbar - more holes

Worked on rollbar fabrication - drilling, countersinking, deburring.

Final adjustments on the brackets, using SAE bolts for fitting.

Lots of work to clean-up the rollbar fit, putting a radius on the strap edges to better fit inside the channel. Probably had to insert about 200 clecoes to assemble/disassemble three times for final alignment and drilling/cleaning. Chips can definitely cause problems with fit.

Very important to keep the back and front half FLAT to work on fit. Found it best to completely drill and secure one half BEFORE going to the other half. I completed all countersinking and riveting of the front half, before the back half was drilled. During the riveting process, there is some twisting force that develops, and it must be finished and secured flat again before commiting to the back.

Re-iterate process of fittnig to the bracket, filing, checking, and adjusting. Drilled the bracket (and double-checked the angle of 'tilt' back and slightly trimmed the brace) then waited to finalize rollbar before drilling pilot holes into the rollbar through the brackets.
