Brief Description:  Rollbar - more fitting

Some minor finish work on the front/back halves of the F-632 rollbar, including trimming the brace, filing the base for fit, and drilling through brackets to the side of the rollbar.

Amazing ridigity in the structure without any bolts/screws to secure it. Tension between the outboard ends of the rollbar against the outboard vertical of the brackets holds the entire structure firmly. This is true even before riveting the front/back halves together.

Still need to complete the blind rivets but holding off until I'm sure there is no further reason to open up the rollbar. I think that drilling the bolt holes and deburring will be the last step before blind rivets.

Thought about drilling a couple of holes for routing the headset wiring to the rollbar brace but have eliminnated that idea after a little 'hanger flying' - although some have used the brace as a location for the headset jacks, this seems very awkward. The headset cords would be routed behind the pilot and if they detached in flight, it would be very distracting to reach over the shoulder to re-insert them.
