Brief Description: F-632 Cabin Frame brace to baggage bulkhead
Still working on garage remodel... and waiting for Avery tools. Continue to do preparatory work for workshop completion - then will procede in order of manual. In the meantime, worked on cabin frame brace. (F-631)
Fabricated F-632B brackets (Dwg #39) and unlabeled angle brackets. Cut 1/4" angled across F-632A for attachment to baggage bulkhead. Used bench vise to 'open up' the F-632B angle to 100 degs, and notched end of F-632A to allow F-632B to sit 'outside/on top' per dwg.
Then fabricated the opposite end (front) of the roll bar brace with similar components. Missed the spec call out to use 3/4 x 3/4 AL Angle and used 1x1 instead. After consideration of using the heavier mtl, decided to refab the bracket using spec'ed size. To use the 1x1 mtl would interfere with rivet placement and length. Too many changes, no advantage gained.
There seem to be a number of these components that do NOT have a "part number" specified. Side brackets and front bracket in particular. ((???))
Completes preparations until the cabin frame is being assembled and installed in fuselage.
