Short but productive evening, trimming the forward edge of the canopy skin against the cover of the equipment bay.
Now that the canopy is glued, and rigid against the pressure of the struts, the leading edge is stable enough to trim. Mark with Sharpie and set hinges above hinge blocks while cutting, filing, deburring, and polishing.
Almost impossible to predict the final fit of the skin until riveted (not yet) but the gap needs to be increased (maybe 1/16") to allow the canopy to clear the forward skin. Also need to anticipate the effect of paint on the joint.
